What acceptance means to us

You can want things to change and meet yourself with compassion.

Acceptance doesn’t mean liking everything that has happened or settling for a life that feels too small. It means making room to notice what you’re experiencing, without turning it into another reason to judge yourself.

At Acceptance Path Counseling, that idea shapes our work. We look at the patterns that have helped you get through difficult moments, the costs they may carry now, and the choices you want to make next.

The direction comes from what matters to you.

How we work

Understanding is a beginning. Everyday life is where we put it to work.

Our approach looks at thoughts, feelings, and behavior in the context of your life. Your clinician works with you to understand what’s happening and choose a useful direction for counseling.

Explore our counseling services

Get curious about the pattern

We explore what tends to happen before, during, and after a difficult moment. Your history, relationships, and circumstances belong in that conversation.

Make space for your experience

You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a polished explanation. Counseling offers a place to talk honestly about what feels painful, confusing, or hard to change.

Connect the work to what matters

We bring the conversation back to your life: relationships, responsibilities, and the things you want to be able to do. Together, you and your clinician decide what to work on.

Our clinicians work with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and OCD. The right fit depends on your needs and the individual clinician.

The people behind the practice

Meet your counseling team.

Before you begin

A few things you may be wondering.

Ask our team
Do I need to know what kind of therapy I want?

No. You can start with what has been difficult and what you hope might change. Our team can help you explore a clinician match, and your clinician can discuss the approach with you.

Can I use insurance or pay for sessions myself?

Both insurance and self-pay options are available. Self-pay counseling is $150 per session with a fully licensed clinician or $100 per session with an associate clinician. A limited number of sliding-scale openings are available. Consultations are always free. Insurance coverage depends on your plan and clinician; our team verifies benefits and provides an estimated copay before your first session.

What if the clinician doesn’t feel like the right fit?

Tell us. Feeling comfortable with your clinician matters, and our team can help you explore a different match. The Reset Guarantee is available to every client, including insurance and self-pay clients.

Your next chapter can start with a conversation

You don’t need the whole plan.
